The pilgrims come to Varanasi in groups, and when the holy bath is finished, one of them, usually an oldest one stay keeping the bags while the others go to do some tourism or schopping in the city.

I am not a feet fetichist, but I must say that in India feet are everywhere, much more in south than in the north.
The way women are walking barefeet give to them a posture we cannot have in our western countries because of the shoes.
And, you first hear the little bellies of the aunckles bracelets before seing the women walking by; nice .
